About Me

I was born in Kent in 1957 and I grew up in Devon, and I now live and work in South West England. I work with computers and people, but I have always admired and held an interest in the arts.

I take photographs because I am increasingly struck by the wonder of things around me; especially natural things like flowers, trees, plants and landscapes. Photography is an expression of being awake and alive with eyes open. It is an immediate experience – being there, in amongst nature, allowing oneself to be drawn in and to discover… and to share the experience for the enjoyment of others.
